Welcome to Year 3!
We hope you enjoy looking at what we have been learning about.
Outdoor play
We joined with years 1 & 2 for outdoor play. We had such fun together. We made nature faces, drew with chalk, built amazing structures and much more. Isn't it amazing how much we can learn while having fun!
We enjoyed doing our capacity work outside in the sunshine!
Shared Education
As part of our Shared Education theme we are looking at the apple tree in each of the different seasons, with a particular focus on Spring. We experimented with different textures to create an apple blossom tree. We were delighted to welcome Mrs Henderson into our classroom to help us out!
Weight work in Year 3
Year 3 enjoyed the challenge of making two blocks of playdough which weighed exactly the same.
Our Senses - we visited our sensory garden and made textured hands!
We enjoyed learning about life in Polar Regions.
Year 3 learning about apples.
We used magnifying glasses to look at apples more closely.
Year 3 Fire-Engines.
Year 3 enjoyed making fire-engines out of junk materials.
