In Northern Ireland, school admissions criteria are updated annually. Below, the admissions criteria are outlined.

P1 Admissions

The application procedure opens in early January (date to be confirmed). Any application submitted by the closing date in mid to late January (date to be confirmed) will be treated as a punctual application.

P2–7 Admissions

Pupils will be admitted to P2–7 in accordance with the preference of their parents, provided their admission does not lead to the enrolment numbers being exceeded; and unless to do so would prejudice the efficient use of resources.
