Board of Governors
In Derryhale, we are fortunate to have a dedicated, interested and committed team of governors who seek to safeguard, nurture and ensure the highest standards of education for our pupils.
The Boards of Governors of a Controlled school comprises representatives from the Education Authority (EA), transferors (church representatives), parents and a staff representative. The day-to-day management and running of Derryhale Primary School is delegated by the Board of Governors to the Principal, who acts as secretary to the governors.
