Our day started off with our Harvest Assembly led by Rev. Darrin Thompson. We thought about Psalm 34 v 8 which says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good." Everyone got a chance to see our wonderful harvest display which Mrs Leckey and Mrs Duncan put so much time and effort into making. It was a fantastic display showing how important farming is in our local area and how we are thankful to farmers for working to provide food for us to eat. In the afternoon, we had a special Harvest Lunch which - it's hard to beat a roast dinner! We are so thankful for Mrs Leckey and Grace who prepare delicious meals for us every day at Derryhale. We have so much to be thankful for.
